Isabel Marant AW13 Boot of the Season
March 11, 2013
And now, let's talk about these boots. Every season no matter the shoes, Isabel Marant's wedge heels, ankle booties and velcro-strap sneakers are always backordered or out of stock. For the AW13 season, I predict will be no different especially with these these boots - a play on her well-known wedge heel and velcro sneaker. Luckily for everyone reading MFS, Moda Operandi's Isabel Marant trunk show went live today where these boots are available for preorder and delivered straight to your door come Fall. See the trunk show here and cut the line!

Paris Fashion Week AW13: Alexander Wang's Debut Collection for Balenciaga
March 5, 2013
The AW13 Balenciaga show was newly appointed Creative Director Alexander Wang's first collection for the brand. Despite mixed review, I quite liked the show especially because it was very much a reflection of Balenciaga as a brand. The collection was black and white (very Alexander Wang) but with intricately structured pieces and classic silhouettes that only a luxury fashion house can achieve with credibility. Alexander Wang is known for his own sportswear line often filled with drapery. This show was a departure from what we normally see from him in a positive way.
Style.com's video recap I included above I think critiqued the show very well. Take a look and let me know, what do you think about Alexander Wang's debut collection?
